May 2024 General Meeting

Gardening is an art form. Come see what we mean!

Owen Marsh, Vice President of the Ottawa Bonsai Society, will give us an “Introduction to Bonsai.” (His April appearance was cancelled due to bad weather.)

Bonsai is the mixture of art and horticulture to create the appearance of a mature tree in a pot. This talk will give an overview of the common Bonsai styles and required techniques to create and maintain a Bonsai in our Canadian climate.

• Meeting is IN PERSON at the Greely Community Centre, 1448 Meadow Drive, Greely
• $5.00 guest fee OR purchase your 2024 membership for $15.00
• A reminder that the GGG meetings will move back to Wednesday evenings from April through to November 2024 inclusive. More details will be forthcoming about those meetings.
• Our Annual Plant Sale is on Saturday May 25. Please split your perennials and pot them up for the sale. More details to follow!!
